PERFORMANCE PREP
These sessions refine the transition from practice to the stage, focusing on polished technique and professional stage presence. Students build the confidence and preparation required for successful delivery in any recital or performance setting. This serves as a more intensive, short-term offering for students looking to dial in upcoming performances for recitals, concerts, etc.
Lessons will occur weekly and are offered in 45 or 60 minute durations.
In-person and virtual options are available, but in-person is encouraged for this type of study.
PRIVATE LESSONS
Private lessons offer a comprehensive study of the piano, ensuring fundamental building blocks are in place before progressing to more advance technical skills and music theory (as desired). Each lesson is tailored to meet the student where they’re at, working to create an enjoyable, educational, and productive approach to piano playing.
Options for 30, 45, or 60 minute lessons are available.
An introductory session of 60 minutes (at a discounted rate) is required before booking recurring lessons.
Returning students are able to book recurring lesson bundles at a discounted rate.
In-person and virtual options are available and can be alternated between as needed.

Alayna’s musical journey began at the age of 5, when she began rigorous instruction. After several years of private lessons, she began playing for public events, including graduations, church services, concerts, and funerals. What began as a childhood curiosity has turned into a lifelong commitment, leading Alayna to pursue a life in music. While piano currently is a side hustle for Alayna, it remains her main passion, which she aims to make her primary career in the future.
Her transition into teaching was driven by a desire to share a love and passion for music and help people realize piano playing is an accessible (and enjoyable) skill for all ages. From personal experience, Alayna knows the complexities of music can be overwhelming but with methodical, customized lessons, she works to bring clarity and guidance to the learning process. formalize the mentorship process, helping students navigate the complexities of music with clarity and precision. EXPLORATORY —
Instruction is a collaborative and multi-faceted process that can start with the basics of notes and scales to increasingly advanced concepts of time and key signatures and advanced music theory concepts (if desired).
TECHNICAL —
Technical mastery is a personal journey rather than a one-size-fits-all requirement. By adapting to unique learning styles, I focus on creating sustainable habits, steady progress, and a safe learning environment. Basic technical skills are the foundation of any successful pianist, upon which more advanced techniques and skills can be built.
ADAPTIVE —
Lessons are curated and customized for each individual student to provide the most enjoyable and educational experience possible. Whether you’re a genuine beginner or have past piano skills you’re looking to revive, a tailor made approach will be created to meet you where you’re at.
LITERACY —
Music theory can be a key component to developing your piano skills. Whether an introductory or in-depth level of knowledge is desired, music theory applications will be integrated into lessons to go beyond simply memorizing notes.

Piano lessons are offered in durations of 30, 45, and 60 minutes and can be for whatever frequency you need. Weekly is recommended, but we can certainly meet more or less frequently - it’s your music journey!
Performance prep is offered in 45 or 60 minute sessions and are offered weekly or twice weekly for the duration needed (up to 10 weeks). This is meant to be a short-term intensive to prepare for recitals, solo and ensemble, etc.
Live event music can be for most any event you’re thinking of hosting - weddings, birthdays, holiday parties, and more! I also offer backup services for bands/concerts if your regular pianist isn’t able to make a particular gig.

Pricing depends on duration and whether you book lessons one at a time or as a bundle.
Standard Pricing:
30 min: $30
45 min: $40
60 min: $50
Purchasing 5 lessons at a time gets you a 10% discount.
An introductory lesson of 60 minutes is offered at the $30 price point to allow time to get to know you and your goals before beginning lesson work.
Standard pricing includes the virtual option or me traveling to you for an in-person lesson within in a 10 mile radius of Kaukauna. A travel surcharge for further distances may apply.

60 min: $55
These sessions are more rigorous and require extra preparation, hence the slightly higher costs. However, discounts are available based on number of sessions you’re looking to book.
